Coleslaw in Chinese-style dressing recipe

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 2 teaspoons of sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of pepper oil, or to taste
- 2 teaspoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of Chinkiang or rice vinegar, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/2 head of cabbage, thinly sliced or shredded (about 2 quarts of chopped cabbage)
- 1 medium carrot, grated in the large holes of a box grater
- 1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds (optional)
- 1/4 cup of thinly sliced chives (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves (optional)
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar and sugar. Add cabbage and carrots and mix well. Adjust the sauce to your liking. Garnish with sesame seeds, chives and cilantro if desired. Coleslaw can be prepared an hour in advance.
